Adela Ramirez is a New York based fashion designer and graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work is inspired by men's tailoring and creative patterns drafting, and trying to create something wearable yet new. She makes clothing women can feel like a badass in. Her work has silhouettes that include cutouts, fitted waist, and strong shoulders.

Adela looks for inspiration in cinema, specifically action, sci-fi, and heist movies. She enjoys the thrill of the badass main character and is fascinated by clothing giving a sense of power to the wearer. Her creative process has made her reflect on why she creates as she does. She creates a badass protagonist as a form of self-evolution and becoming her ideal self. Creating these clothes and storyline is an invitation for others to join this journey and become their own main character.
